From the start, one of the best parts about living here is the variety of amenities that make day-to-day life more enjoyable. The pool is definitely a highlight—whether it’s relaxing with friends, swimming laps, or just lounging in the sun, it’s become one of my favorite spots to spend time.
The dining hall makes life so much easier, especially on busy days. Having meals right on site saves time, and the food options are surprisingly good. The café with Starbucks is another bonus—I love being able to grab a coffee or snack convenient—it’s genuinely enjoyable. With the mix of amenities, social atmosphere, and all the small touches like the Starbucks café, it really feels like home while also keeping life exciting and connected.

I had a bit of a scare when the sink in the bathroom started leaking yet sure enough, the maintenance crew came straight away and fixed it for free Thank you to the maintenance crew and Thank you to the Social Chico and the staff

The dorms are clean, modern and well maintained, with comfortable beds, ample storage and reliable Wi‑Fi that makes studying easy. Meals in the dining hall are varied and tasty—there’s always a good mix of healthy options and comfort favorites, and dietary needs are well accommodated. The community here is welcoming I’ve met friendly roommates and classmates and there are frequent events that make it easy to socialize. The location is ideal — only about a ten‑minute walk to Chico State University — which saves time and makes campus life convenient. Staff are professional and responsive whenever an issue comes up. Overall, Social Chico offers excellent value for students seeking a supportive, comfortable and social living environment. It has exceeded expectations and feels like a home away from home.

Love the study computer room to go in and do some work but really wish they added a printer to print out paper so you wouldn’t have to go on campus.

He has great customer service skills. Whenever we needed assistance or questions he was always available to help. Brian also offer advice experience attending Chico State and what the local community has to offer.
