Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThe Social Chico is a good place to live. It is really close to CSU Chico that walking takes 10 minutes and they also have a shuttle that takes you around the school to get to your classes more conveniently.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesMaintenance handles requests quickly. The gym and cafe provide an escape from campus life if needed. The Social Chico is a quick walk away from Downtown Chico and is located close to city bus stops for those that don’t want to drive.
A little tough to get in touch with the office over the phone but the workers in the main office are friendly and helpful.

I definitely love my roommates and how well the team worked on the matching. I haven't got to know many other people but everyone seems super nice

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThe residence experience is great the only issue I can think of at the moment is simply the renovations my apartment didn’t receive so we require constant maintenance orders.
Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesIt’s been good so far. Some positives are that the HVAC really does keep it cool. Even if our hall is hot because that door is open, it’s nice and cool in our unit. Also the pool is big and cold and perfect for the heat. There’s also a lot to do while staying at home so students can opt to save money if they want. On our first day, we experienced leaking from our HVAC so now there is water damage on our ceiling. We’ve been keeping an eye on it because, when wet, the water spots are soft to the touch. Later in the week, our shower started screaming on shower setting and then the water would either stop coming from the shower and only pour out the bathtub faucet or stop running completely. The maintenance man changed out the bathtub faucet and shower head and said he thinks that’s the issue...haven’t taken another shower yet but my roommate managed to. Also, the laundry system isn’t my favorite. Since it’s based on a smart card and move-ins were clearly planned, there should’ve been been enough cards for every resident to get one. This the only way to do laundry here so I hope it gets fixed ASAP.
Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesIt was pretty cool. I was matched to a great roommate, and we got along well. It was easy getting around, and even in the one emergency I had I was able to get help. Loudness was really minimal, and I felt secure the entire year.
